WHAT YOU DO

  • Monitor the system using your proficiency in SAP EWM and resolve issues immediately as they arise.
  • Report severe incidents to the EWM Super User or central support functions while tracking the status of raised tickets.
  • Act as the primary subject matter expert regarding the Dematic System operations.
  • Troubleshoot problems on the equipment including carrier alignment, excluding specific technical faults.
  • Coordinate maintenance requirements and downtimes effectively with the maintenance department and Dematic service suppliers.
  • Assist with the shipping process during quieter periods by maintaining a presence and helping with lorry driver queries.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and escalate these to the Warehouse Manager for further progression.

WHO YOU ARE

  • You possess mandatory vocational training in logistics or have relevant previous experience in the field.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of SAP software and Warehouse Management Systems (EWM) is essential for this role.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively are required.
  • You demonstrate strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English are mandatory.
  • You are capable of working in a fast-paced environment and perform well under pressure.
  • Ideally, you hold FLT licenses and have an affinity for working with data and figures.
