WHAT YOU DO
- Registering incoming and outgoing trucks in our SAP system and checking their paperwork
- Engaging with lorry drivers, dealing with issues on a daily basis
- Registering contractors and other externals
- Supervising CCTV
- Effectively communicating with adjacent departments
- Writing incident reports
- Doing regular patrols
- Organising the Yard
- Occasional cleaning up of the Yard
- Occasional vehicle searches in accordance to company policy
WHO YOU ARE
- Minimum of one year experience in industrial security
- Knowledge of legal guidelines for area security and public safety
- IT literate, knowledge in SAP and visitor management software welcome
- Perfect communication skills, proficient in de-escalation and conflict management
- Achieved your Security Industry Authority (SIA) licence
- Experience in writing handover and daily surveillance reports
- Pro-active, comfortable to work with minimal supervision and able to work alone and use their initiative
- The ability to act appropriately in emergency and high stress situations
- Excellent decision making and problem-solving skills
