Warehouse & Forklift Operator

WHAT YOU DO

• Manoeuvre pallets safely in a busy manufacturing environment by operating forklifts and pump trucks.
• Safely stack and unstack large quantities of goods onto shelves or pallets.
• Provide our production lines with the necessary raw materials to maintain operations.
• Unload incoming deliveries and responsibly relocate goods to their designated storage areas.
• Check the quality of incoming goods to ensure high standards are met.
• Oversee third-party loading activities at the outgoing goods area.
• Transport, sort, and handle waste of any kind according to site procedures.

WHO YOU ARE

• A valid FLT License is required, accompanied by a minimum of 2 years of experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and safe working practices is essential, ideally supported by an IOSH Working Safely qualification or equivalent.
• Reliability, trustworthiness, and accuracy are expected, along with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Good written and verbal communication skills are necessary for effective team collaboration.
• Willingness to work shifts is mandatory to meet the operational needs of the plant.
• Basic proficiency with SAP software and Google applications is considered an advantage.

• Working time: 39 hours per week // 8 - hours shifts // Mo - Fri // 6am - 2pm, 2pm - 10pm
• Basic hourly rate: £13.13
• Hourly rate with 20% shift premium: £15.76
